Pinchcliffe, felted sitting cushion with Sonny

Oh man, this was a headache! Don't know how familiar you guys in here (outside of Scandinavian that is) is with Pinchcliffe Grand Prix.

To summon Pinchliffe Grand Prix up, it's an old Norwegian stop motion movie from 1975 that's a national treasure here, and it has found its way to other countries as well and is now a huge sensation over the world! The original name of the movie is Flåklypa Grand Prix.
The story takes place in the little town called Pinchcliffe where we meet the poor but genious inventor Theodore Rimspoke (Reodor Felgen in Norwegian(he looks exactly like my grandfather <3 )) and his two helpers, a nervous, pessimistic and melancholic hedgehog named Lambert (Ludvig in Norwegian) and a cheerful and optimistic magpie called Sonny Duckworth (Solan Gundersen in Norwegian). They decide to build a car called Il Tempo Gigante and enter the race.

The movie has been a christmas tradition here cause they air it on TV every christmas. It's a wonderful movie full of adorable and relatable characters that you will fall in love with. If you haven't seen it, try look it up, you won't regret it!

Anyway... This is the first real christmaspresent I've made this year, it's a feltet sitting cushion that's ment for hickings and trips. The reciever loves this movie just as much as the rest of my family so I decided to make him this with Sonny on it. Sonny took me three days to sew on with stichmasks. But I'm surprised on how well it turned out! I drew up the pattern for Sonny myself.

...might add that this Sonny is based on the old comics from Kjell Aukrust, not the way he's in the movie, there he got a red jacket, brown pants and a brown, striped scarf.
