Ugly yoga scrap socks

I'm sorry if you got a foot phobia and this is creeping you out.

I'm currently in the mood for scrap projects and I got a huge bag full of scraps woth different textures and thicknesses. Ofcourse, I could just knit up a bunch of ugly scrap socks, but it's summer and not really wool sock weather, which makes me oh so sad inside. Then I came across this blog a few days ago, talking about using yoga socks instead of full wool socks during summer, and it was genious! I pulled out the most boring and sad 100% wool scraps I had and grabbed my needles and knitted up these. There's no real pattern here. I casted on 50 stitches and knit ribbing until I had reached a good lenght. Then I just decreased half my stitches to make the heel opening and casten on the same amount the next round. I kept the ribbing going on top of my foot while I worked in stockingnet stitch on the underside. I used 3mm needles to get them tight and fitted.
Finished up these last night and put them on before bed. My feet was warm and toasty all through the night without it being too hot like it always is with whole wool socks. I do need to make myself more of these for summer use! So practical and so comfy!
