Ugly felted scrap slippers

Don't mind the fuss, they've been work alot before I got around to photograph them.
I won't say that this is totally my own creation, but I did write this pattern and figured out all the numbers only by studying other slippers of the same style. Normally these are made by knitting 8 squares in the shape of an L and then sew it all together, but that just feels like alot of work to me. These are made in mitered squares, knitted together as I went along instead of sewed together at the end.

I do prefer these over the other types of felted slippers, they seem to fit my foot better and I do like the opening alot better too.

I did try my hand at needle felting at the same time. I managed to felt a heart and also letters to tell me what slipper goes on which foot.

Knitted in various new, pure wool scraps on size 5mm needles.
