Description
For the April Contest at
Over the last year, I've fallen completely in love with richer dark red colours that has a hint of purple in them. I've never been too big with bright red tones, so this more berry one is just perfect for me. It's also a good colour to use along with more golden colours as well, and I can't stand yellow on its own, so new favorite colour combo right there!
So of course I had to do SOMETHING for this month's :devknitting-and-crochet contes: But I must admit, I'm a TEENY bit sad that I didn't postpone my cardigan for a few weeks
I had a hard time figuring out what to make for this contest. I didn't really have any projects in mind that I really wanted and had enough yarn for. I've been trying to get the perfect shade for a different project, which has resulted in a few one off skeins of different sock yarn.
I did some sock hunting and came across this very delicate one from Drops Design that I really liked. With some ochre scraps, I crossed my fingers that the one skein of sock yarn would hold. Lucky for me, with the heels and toes ochre, I JUST had enough.
Yarn: Fabel 75% wool, 25% polyamid + scraps
Needles: 2,5mm
Pattern: Nordic Summer Socks © Drops Design www.garnstudio.com/lang/us/pat…
