From the very first time I saw the new Disney movie, Frozen, I was in love with it and everything in it, and ofcourse I had to notice the pretty pretty mittens Anna was wearing (also Elsa's gloves, but that's for a different time). I decided that I just HAD to make them and as soon as I got home from spending the holidays with my parents, I dug out some yarn and started planing. You can read about the mittens, the progress and idea in my blog, starting with this blog entry lizzy-knits.blogspot.no/2014/0…
It took some time, but after studying the gloves, the pattern, the color and everything, I got the diamond snowflake chart drawn down and a pattern for felted mittens. It took me about 5 days to finish these, and the result was beyond my expertations. They're not perfect, but better than I could have hoped for. I truly am proud of these! They're also my first project of 2014, both started and finished. The pictures do suck a bit thought. Since global warming is a bitch, we just recently got snow again so I had to hurry out to get pictures while we still had "daylight".
Hope you like them! Onward to planning Elsa's gloves!
These will also be submitted for Knitting-and-Crochet
's "blue challenge" this month!
