Black and green fair-isle Lilli socks by KnitLizzy Black and green fair-isle Lilli socks by KnitLizzy
My very first socks with pattern! Ofcourse it has it's flaws, but I'm working on improving myself! Working on my third pair with this particular pattern now. Did this in the early autumn of 2011.

Here's my second pair: [link]

The flaws are what make a knitted piece so unique. These are beautiful socks!

SO pretty. I don't know if I would wear them because I wouldn't want to spoil them.

Well, they're socks and they're ment to be worn :P But I love them so much that I'd rather knit myself a bunch of new ones just to have atleast one pair that's close to perfect =D

Thank you ^^ And they're not that hard... If you're not used to knit with this kind of patterns then it might take a long time, but the last pair, I got done in under three days.

That's a lot of patience! I usually don't have courage for that knowing how quickly socks wear off :( I like best the top part :)

Well, the top part are knitted upside down xD This was my first pair trying this out and it took me two weeks, now I can knit a pair under three days. And if you look at my journal, you can see that I fix up my socks before they are ruined, so they last longer! =D
